Gravitas

Description

Gravitas is a puzzle-arcade game, in which you play as a spaceship that's abandoned in space, and needs to get back home safely with important research. In the game, your spaceship is attracted by the gravitional forces of different planets, which you can use to your advantage to propel the ship forward with minimal extra thrust. Be sure to land gently, and get the research home in one piece!

Game story

Compared to our other 3 games, we managed to apply a lot of polish to Gravitas. Since its core mechanics are simple to learn, yet hard to master, playing through it can be a really rewarding experience. The physics simulation was a challenge to get working properly, without increasing the (computational) costs significantly, but in the end it provided a really cool mechanic.
